Morales won eight of the nine departments of Bolivia, including the prosperous region of Santa Cruz, who until Sunday was considered the electoral opposition stronghold. The opposition, which he attended divided into four options to these elections, only won the Amazonian department of Beni.
"On a personal name and those fighting for the liberation of all Bolivia, thank you for this great support," said Evo. He dedicated the win to "all the peoples of Latin America and the world who struggle against capitalism and imperialism."
