Political attacks marked the first televised debate of the second round of voting between Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, and his opponent's Social Democracy Party (PSDB), Aécio Neves.
The debate between the two candidates started last night and finished this morning, after an intense exchange of opinions and accusations, which according to commentators and internautas- Rousseff came nearly two hours favorecida.Durante issues related to the economy, education, health treated , public safety, services and corruption, and was charged against Neves nepotism during his tenure as governor of Minas Gerais (2003-2010).
Following this debate, the first president of the country noted that submitted proposals to move towards a better future with improving quality in teaching, health care and achieve comprehensive security. He urged citizens to inquire into the official web sites of the administration of Minas Gerais and the Court of Accounts of the Union to confirm the veracity of their statements and failures by the PSDB in the territory.
In this discussion Rousseff, who is seeking re-election by the Workers Party (PT), highlighted the role of public banks in soft loans and financing of social programs.
He blamed his opponent for wanting to privatize the banks and not have social policy proposals, just because he said promises to continue our current programs promoted by the PT since 2003, with the coming to power of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
The issue of corruption was the most controversial, because the PSDB candidate tried to blame his opponent for alleged diversion of funds from Petrobras for the bank accounts of three political parties, among them the PT.
Although this is considered accusations without proof, the ruling stated that his government is that crimes like these begin to be tried and convicted.
He recalled that related to the misuse of public resources scandals in previous mandates PSDB, were shelved.
In the end, the president called for the vote in his favor of the citizens to continue with the transformations and changes in Brazil and advocated encourage the study, science and technology to build a nation with new ideas.
Neves, for his part, said that encourage economic growth to ensure social policies, promised better control inflation and implement social programs Lula da Silva and Rousseff.
Two more televised debates will be held on Thursday and Sunday, and a fourth coming last 24 will be held two days before the second round of voting.
