Venezuelan water polo title in Veracruz-2014

Venezuelan water polo teams in both sexes aspire to the top of the podium at the XXII Central American and Caribbean Games, planned from 14 to 29 November in Veracruz, sources of discipline.
The president of the Venezuelan Federation of Water Sports (Feveda), Lourdes Goncalves said that both teams are very good in their international participation and preparation.

He recalled that in the recent South American Championship to held in Mar de Plata, Argentina, the national teams reached their quota to the next XVII Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, in 2015.
The female contingent he succeeded in conquering the second place in the tournament and the male with his third place on the podium.

In the Central of Mexico, the polo matches will start from Saturday 22 and will conclude on November 29 at the Aquatic Center "Reform Laws" in Boca del Rio, Veracruz.

In the last edition held in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Venezuela's teams finished in the second box.

The men's title went to the selection of Colombia and Puerto Rican women in local meantime Mexico was two third places.

On the agenda of the local federation of the specialty still remain and also the South American qualifiers for the just Toronto events, such as diving the coming month of November and host status (Barquisimeto), and the Open Water Corrientes, Argentina, in December.
