President of the Executive Committee of the Pan American Association of Veterinary Science, Luis Zarco, today recognized the prestige of Cuba in the organization of scientific events.
During the opening in the Havana Convention of XXIV Pan American Congress of Veterinary Science, PANVET 2014, Zarco said the Greater Antilles has a great attraction for all the guests.
For that reason we have the participation of delegates not onl the Pan area, but also in countries such as Angola, Spain, Italy, Libya, UK, Tunisia and Turkey, said the manager. Zarco said in this regard that the presence of these nations further enriches the work of Congress, although it is regional, aims to link professionals in veterinary science from all regions of the world.
In this edition of PANVET personalities, academics and doctors of at least 26 countries, 274 thousand research presented in 20 sessions of work involved.
During the event, which will run until October 9, the meetings of the various schools of veterinary medicine in the region will also be held, along with side events like the Nor-Cuban Veterinary Conference and the Meeting of Ibero-American Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
