The Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL), Alicia Barcenas, met with the President of Cuba, Raul Castro, as a key part of the agenda of his working visit to the capital.
Both sides exchanged topics of interest related to the existing cooperation between Cuban authorities and the regional authority, being labeled will increase those links.

As part of the Cuban delegation also attended the meeting Vice President Marino Murillo and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca.
