Pay tribute to Che Forever

Cuban missions in Bolivia recalled the 47th anniversary of the murder of the Cuban La Higuera Argentine guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara, ordered by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States.
The event was attended by members of the medical team and the diplomatic mission on the island and were projected images with words of Latin American Presidents about the legendary Guerrilla Heroico.Entre voices referred to Che included the deceased presidents Salvador Allende (Chile) and Hugo Chávez (Venezuela), along with the first current presidents of Ecuador and Bolivia, Evo Morales and Rafael Correa, respectively, and the Cuban leader, Fidel Castro.

Fidel's words in reference to Che, contained in a documentary by American filmmaker Oliver Stone, marked the center of the evening tribute, which also included reading dedicated to the commander of the Sierra Maestra and Bolivia poems.

Che was captured in the Quebrada del Yuro and transferred to La Higuera, whose schoolhouse was killed on October 9, 1967.

His body was secretly buried in the side of the airstrip Vallegrande, where he remained for three decades.

In the late 1990s his remains were found and then transferred to the city of Santa Clara, Cuba, with the majority of the combatants of the Bolivian epic.
