Frustrate Customs Port of Havana attempt to evade customs control

Try something fraudulently passing by an office, whether drugs, animals, weapons or other objects, it is something that happens quite often. However, there are times that the inventiveness of some people is beyond the imagination, as happened in this case.

Late last October, a resident in the country was presented to the Customs of the Port of Havana in order to extract an unaccompanied minor who was transported from Panama and, as it appeared in the papers presented, baggage contained two storey power.

When subjected to customs control was detected in the boxes purportedly containing these teams came Motorcycle parts and accessories that were not declared and then to further review, it was found that the internal combustion engine should be part of power plants had been replaced, in either case, by motors (units) of motorcycle.

Finally, the fact resulted in a premeditated operation with the intention of importing fraudulently evading customs control and two unarmed internal combustion bikes, as seen in the pictures we post, so all cargo was subject to the corresponding administrative sanction.

In their statements, the passenger admitted that bringing this merchandise concealed in her luggage, saying they were for his personal use and that he was unaware that such goods were prohibited or regulated.

The No.62, Penal Code Act, Title V, National Economic Crimes, Chapter XII, Article 233 states: "A punishment of imprisonment of one to three years or a fine of three hundred to one thousand quotas, or both to to "enter or try to enter the country without complying objects or commodities laws."
