Cuban Medical infected with Ebola comes to Geneva

In response to the call of the WHO and the secretary general of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, Cuba sent more than 200 specialists in West Africa to combat the epidemic in countries where it originated.

The international community has unanimously recognized the Cuban effort and its medical staff, noted for its professionalism and international solidarity in cases of emergencies.

In Cuba and the rest of the world are countless examples of support to the Cuban doctor infected with the disease, which have flooded in recent days leading digital spaces of the island, and social networks.
